Kelly Snyder

TV producer Kelly Snyder, a former location manager, died June 7 of a heart attack in Santa Monica. He was 41. Snyder served in various TV producing capacities, including associate producer duties for NBC’s “Later With Greg Kinnear” as well as associate producer of NBC’s “Friday Night.” He also helped produce “Circus of the Stars.”

Snyder began his career in 1981 as a production assistant on the show “That’s Incredible.” He later served as a location manager for two TV series, “The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd” and “The Slap Maxwell Story.”

He is survived by his mother, Celeste; father, Don Snyder, a veteran L.A. Times sports staff editor; and two sisters.

Family suggests donations in Snyder’s name be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Los Angeles, or St. Francis High School or Arthur McCready Trust, both in La Canada.
