WB, Giant/Rev extend pact

Label sticks with BMG for int'l distribution

Warner Bros. Records and Giant/Revolution Records have inked a new, long-term agreement which extends the marketing and distribution of Giant/Revolution product by Warner Bros. through the year 2002. Internationally, Giant/Revolution will continue to be distributed by BMG.

Additionally, Giant/Revolution intends to streamline its operations to more effectively integrate and utilize the marketing and promotional efforts of its partner Warner Bros. Records through the Warner Bros. and Reprise labels.

As a result, Revolution senior creative exec Missy Worth and the label’s head of promotion, Rich Bloom, have ankled the label.

Giant/Revolution boasts Kenny Wayne Shepherd and its Nashville outpost sports Tim McGraw on its roster. The label is moving to offices in Burbank.
