Nick signs a deal with Kid Rhino

Producer will create audio products from Nick's shows

Nickelodeon has inked a multiyear partnership with the Los Angeles-based kids audio producer Kid Rhino to create audio products patterned on Nick’s original TV properties, including the programs in the network’s Nick Jr. preschool block.

Agreement gives Kid Rhino the right to produce, market and distribute to retail CD and audio cassette products including action-adventures, read-alongs, sing-alongs and audio adventures.

First product skedded for release in 1998 in a “Best of Nicktoons” compilation album that features 41 theme songs and other cartoon music, including tunes from the Nick shows “Rugrats,” “Angry Beavers,” “Hey Arnold!” and “Rocko’s Modern Life.”
