Duo to oversee web's comedies

Warner Bros. Television has filled two key positions: Marjorie Levy has been tapped as director, while Cheryl Morgan has been upped to manager of the studio’s comedy development department.

Levy will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of network comedy development and will report to Maria Grasso, senior veep of comedy development.

Grasso recently replaced Keith Cox, now at Greenblatt/Janolarri Studios.

Morgan, who has been manager of creative affairs for the studio, will work with Grasso and Levy to develop new writers and projects for the company.

Prior to joining Warner Bros., Levy was director of original programming and series development for MTV Networks, developing half-hour programs such as “Normal Joe” and “Crashers.”
