Connery named presenter for 70th Oscars

Sean Connery will make his third appearance as an Oscar presenter at this year’s Academy Awards telecast.

As the star of “Dr. No,” Connery inaugurated the longrunning James Bond movie franchise. He received a best supporting actor Oscar for his role in “The Untouchables,” and will appear in this summer’s “The Avengers.”

The 70th Academy Awards will be broadcast live March 23 by ABC starting at 6 p.m. (PST.)
