Tenney wed to ‘Marriage’

Thesp joins Hunter in Henley play

Jon Tenney will head to Broadway to co-star with Holly Hunter in the Roundabout Theatre production of Beth Henley’s new play “Impossible Marriage.” Directed by Stephen Wadsworth, the play will begin previews on Sept. 23.

Tenney last starred in “Brooklyn South,” the Stephen Bochco-produced cop drama that was set in New York, but shot in Los Angeles. Here, he’s not faking the location any longer, immersing himself in a total New York state of mind. Tenney, who’s married to “Lois & Clark” star Teri Hatcher, has moved his family (the couple just had a daughter, Emma) to Gotham for the next year. He’s currently in New York shooting “Advice From a Caterpillar,” the Don Scardino-directed film which costars Cynthia Nixon and Andy Dick. He recently completed shooting Phil Joanou’s rock drama “Entropy,” opposite Stephen Dorff, Lauren Holly and U2.

Tenney’s managed by Kimberly Hines and agented by UTA’s Josh Pollack and David DeCamillo.
