Wright joins Brooks’ ‘Muse’

Thesp to join Stone, Bridges in comedy pic

Steven Wright, last seen in “Half Baked,” has inked for a small role in Albert Brooks’ “The Muse” for October Films.

Wright joins a cast that includes Brooks, Sharon Stone, Andie MacDowell and Jeff Bridges. Martin Scorsese, Rob Reiner and James Cameron, who will play themselves in cameos.

“I’ve been a fan of Steve Wright’s for years,” said Brooks. “I knew that he was perfect for the role.”

Pic started shooting this week in L.A.

Wright is due out later this year as a lead voice in “Babe: Pig in the City” for Universal.

He was repped by UTA and manager Tim Sarkes of SKA Management.
