Jake Weber, currently onscreen in Warner Bros.’ “Dangerous Beauty,” has joined John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton in Mike Newell’s “Pushing Tin” at 20th Century Fox.
Weber plays the sarcastic and opinionated best friend of fellow air traffic controller Cusack in the New York-set comedy. The pic is produced by Art Linson and penned by “Cheers” scribes Glen and Les Charles.
Weber, a New York stage vet, recently completed filming on Martin Brest’s “Meet Joe Black” with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, as well as the Jean Doumanian-produced “Elements” with Rob Morrow and Claire Forlani.
Weber is repped by the Gersh Agency’s Bill Butler and manager Kimberly Hines.
