Ulrich ready to ‘Chill’

Thesp to star in Morgan Creek-, WB-produced adventure

NEW YORK — Skeet Ulrich, in North Carolina filming “Takedown” for Miramax, will move to a colder climate with a starring role in “Chill Factor” for Morgan Creek and Warner Bros.

To begin lensing next month in Utah and on the East Coast, “Chill” is being helmed by Hugh Johnson from a script by Mike Cheda and Drew Gitlin. Pic is an adventure about two men dealing with a highly toxic substance that must be kept below 50 degrees.

“Chill” is being produced by James Robinson and exec produced by Jonathan Zimbert and Bill Bannerman.

Prior to “Takedown,” a biopic about computer hacker Kevin Mitnick that is being directed by Joe Chappelle, Ulrich wrapped a starring role in Ang Lee’s Civil War “Ride With the Devil” for Universal Pictures.

The actor’s film credits include “As Good as It Gets,” “The Newton Boys” and “Scream.” He is represented by ICM and New York attorney Ira Schreck.
