‘Tomorrow’ wins top Powell Award

Voted best-marketed pic by Film Information Council

MGM/UA’s Pierce Brosnan starrer “Tomorrow Never Dies” has been awarded the Charles M. Powell Award for best marketed motion picture of 1997 by the Film Information Council.

In a new move this year, the FIC executive committee acknowledged four of the year’s monthly winners with special nominee awards. They were “Star Wars,” “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “Men in Black” and “The Full Monty.”
