Ralph E. Farmer dies at 90

Former Universal propman

Ralph E. Farmer, a former prop man at Universal Pictures during the 1920s and early 1930s, died Friday of natural causes in Santa Maria. He was 90.

He is survived by his son, Noel Farmer, a sister and a niece.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. todayat Dudley Hoffman Mortuary Chapel in Santa Maria.

Memorial contributions in Farmer’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Assn. of Santa Barbara County.
