Northern Arts picks up four

Comedies, a quest, and a hitman bought by distrib co

Massachusetts-based indie distrib Northern Arts Entertainment has acquired North American rights to “Levitation,” “Talk to Me,” “The Continued Adventures of Reptile Man” and “Charlie Hoboken.”

“Levitation,” helmed by Scott D. Goldstein, stars newcomer Sarah Paulson as a young woman on a quest to find her birth mother.

“Talk to Me,” a romantic comedy slated for a June New York release, is co-written and directed by George Esguerra and stars newcomer Cheryl Clifford.

“The Continued Adventures of Reptile Man” stars Tony Curtis as an aging actor who still insists on playing his long-expired comic book hero role. The film, written and directed by Stewart Schill, co-stars Arye Gross and Ally Walker.

“Charlie Hoboken,” written and directed by Tom Mazziotti, stars newcomer Ken Garito as an insurance salesman by day and a hitman by night. Austin Pendleton and Tovah Feldshuh co-star.

Goldstein was repped by Mitch Blum of Medallion Entertainment. Esguerra and Schill were repped by Mark Litwak of Berton & Donaldson, and Mazziotti was repped by Vincent Paragano of Paragano & Richlan.
