New Line Cinema has named Jody Levin as its senior vice president of post-production.
Levin will report to NL’s executive VP of production Carla Fry, who made the announcement.
Levin is currently overseeing post-production on four upcoming New Line titles: “Bade,” “American History X,” “The Corruptor” and “The Blast From the Past.”
Her new duties will be to negotiate all laboratory and vendor contracts and to establish post-production budgets and schedules. She also will liaise between NL and the MPAA.
Levin joins New Line from Morgan Creek Prods., where she served as VP of post production. Her credits there include “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” and the “Ace Ventura” and “Major League” franchises.
Between 1986 and 1988 Levin worked as director of post-production for Tristar Pictures and Television.
