Maysville will add 3 exex to expand bill

Cosgrove, Williams, Field join Clooney prodco

Maysville Pictures, the Warner Bros.-based production company for George Clooney and Robert Lawrence, has signed three execs — senior VP of production Ben Cosgrove, VP of TV development Pam Oas Williams and creative exec Kevin Field.

Cosgrove, formerly at TriStar Pictures as director of creative affairs, will develop material for Clooney to topline, as well as projects for Clooney and Lawrence to produce.

At TriStar, Cosgrove worked on such pics as “Jakob the Liar,” “Jumanji,” “Devil in a Blue Dress,” “The Quick and the Dead,” “Matilda” and “Desperate Measures.”

“George and I are delighted that Ben has joined Maysville,” Lawrence said. “He is a talented resourceful executive who will make a valuable contribution to Maysville’s burgeoning development and production slate.”

Williams moves to Maysville from Warner TV, where she was a director of drama development. Along with its feature division, Maysville has an overall deal with the TV arm.

She will be responsible for TV drama and comedy development, including a series commitment and two telepics for CBS. She will also get producer credit on all Maysville skeins.

At Warner, Williams was instrumental in the development of “Vengeance Unlimited” and “Trinity.” Before Warner, she spent three years at NBC’s Stuffed Dog Co. as director of creative affairs.

Field, a former assistant to Lawrence when his deal was at Fox, will work closely with Lawrence and Cosgrove to solicit material.

He has been with Maysville since its inception in late 1996.
