Lewis, Hurt climbing Klasuner’s ‘4th Floor’

Millennium pic ready to reel

NEW YORK — Juliette Lewis has signed to star with William Hurt in the indie thriller “The 4th Floor,” which will be directed by Josh Klasuner.

Klasuner, who also wrote the script, was the second unit director on “There’s Something About Mary.”

Millennium Films’ “4th Floor” will begin shooting in September in New Brunswick, Canada and New York. Lewis plays an interior designer who inherits her aunt’s rent-controlled apartment, and is terrorized by an unknown neighbor. Boaz Davidson, Bill Vince, Brad Weston and Naomi DuPress will produce.

Lewis, whose career got a big boost from her Oscar-nominated turn in “Cape Fear,” is getting good word of mouth on her work as a mildly retarded young woman intent on gaining her independence in the Garry Marshall-directed “The Other Sister.”

She’s repped by William Morris agent Scott Henderson and manager Joel Stevens.
