NEW YORK — Lauren Holly has joined the casts of the Oliver Stone-directed “On Any Given Sunday” and the Phil Joanou-directed film “Entropy.”
In “Sunday,” Holly joins a cast that toplines Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, Dennis Quaid, Edward Burns and Sean “Puffy” Combs. The gridiron drama, to shoot this fall for Warner Bros., was scripted by John Logan and produced by Dan Halsted, Lauren Shuler Donner and Clayton Townsend.
Holly will also take a role in “Entropy,” which Joanou scripted. It’s about a young filmmaker (Stephen Dorff) who makes a movie about the rock band U2 as his personal life unravels. Judith Godreche and Kelly MacDonald also star, with U2 lead singer Bono also acting. Holly recently wrapped Gramercy’s “No Looking Back,” and “Vig,” in which she co-starred with Peter Falk from a script by Paul Hapenny. She’s repped by CAA and managed by Rick Yorn and Julie Yorn at Industry Ent.
