Thesp joins '70s icons in Artisan pic
Amelia Heinle, who co-starred in the Toronto preem “At Satchem Farm” opposite Minnie Driver and Rufus Sewell, is close to a deal to join the cast of Artisan Entertainment’s crime thriller “The Limey.”
Heinle will play Adhara, the jaded girlfriend of Peter Fonda, the pic’s villain, in the Steven Soderbergh-helmed pic. Shooting is set to begin in early October.
“Limey” also toplines such ’60s and ’70s icons as Terence Stamp, Lesley Ann Warren and Ann-Margret.
Scott Kramer and John Hardy produce the film about an Englishman who comes to Los Angeles to avenge the murder of his brother.
Heinle also will star in the upcoming TNT movie, “Purgatory” along with Sam Shepherd and Brad Rowe.
She was repped in the deal by Lorrie Bartlett and Paul Rosicker of the Gersh Agency and manager John Carrabino.
