Caravan gets a ‘Do-Over’

D'Angelo to produce pic from Lorey script

Caravan has purchased the fantasy-comedy pitch “Do-Over” out of its discretionary fund for a high six against seven figures.

Based on an idea by Carr D’Angelo, who will produce the project with Caravan principals Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman, the project will be scripted by Dean Lorey.

It’s the first feature project as a producer for D’Angelo, who was until recently a development executive at Lorne Michaels’ Par-based Broadway Video. Before that, he was a production exec at Universal.

Lorey’s credits include “Major Payne” and “Madman.” The William Morris Agency brokered the deal on behalf of Lorey and D’Angelo.
