Byrne to tell ‘Toby’s Story’

Actor grabs role in MGM thriller

Fresh from his swashbuckling role as D’Artagnan in the United Artists’ “The Man in the Iron Mask,” Gabriel Byrne has taken the male lead opposite Patricia Arquette in MGM’s supernatural thriller “Toby’s Story.” The film will be directed by Rupert Wainwright and begins production in April, produced by Frank Mancuso Jr.

Byrne will play a priest sent by the Vatican to Boston to investigate a Boston woman who receives strange visitations. The script was written by Rick Ramage and the film will shoot in L.A. and Boston. Byrne is repped by Rick Yorn of Addis-Wechsler and UTA.
