To star opposite Aykroyd, Kinski in indie pic
Lara Flynn Boyle has joined the cast of the indie feature “Susan’s Plan,” which is being directed by John Landis.
Pic, which was written by Landis, toplines Dan Aykroyd and Nastassja Kinski.
“Plan” is a black comedy about a woman who wants to kill her husband so that she can collect on the life insurance.
Landis’ St. Clair Entertainment is co-producing the pic with Kushner-Locke Co., which is financing and handling worldwide distribution.
Producers are Leslie Belzberg, Brad Wyman and Landis, with K-L’s Peter Locke and Donald Kushner exec producing.
Boyle is coming off Alan Rudolph’s arthouse hit “Afterglow,” where she was part of an ensemble cast with Nick Nolte, Oscar-nominated Julie Christie and Jonny Lee Miller.
Among the former “Twin Peaks” star’s other credits are “Red Rock West,” “Equinox” and “Wayne’s World.”
She is repped by ICM’s Chris Andrews.
