‘Bittersweet’ wraps lensing

Everhart-starrer produced by King Film siblings

Angie Everhart, Eric Roberts, James Russo, Brian Wimmer and Joe Penny have wrapped shooting on King Film Intl.’s actioner “Bittersweet.”

The film, directed by Luca Bercovici (“Convict 762”), shot on location in and around Los Angeles.

The pic focuses on Everhart, who serves time for a murder for which she was framed by her mobster boyfriend (Wimmer). To get to him, she first has to deal with a crime kingpin (Roberts).

“Bittersweet” was produced by brother-sister team Kandice and Lance King, who also fully financed the picture through their production and foreign sales company King Films Intl.

King’s previous outings include the video title “Diary of a Serial Killer” starring Gary Busey and Michael Madsen, as well as New Line’s “Sunset Heat” starring Dennis Hopper.
