Belle under ‘Magic’ spell

She'll star opposite Bullock, Kidman in WB pic

Camilla Belle (“The Lost World: Jurassic Park”) has signed on for the role of a young Sally Owens in Warner Bros. witch-craft-themed romantic comedy “Practical Magic.”

Sandra Bullock stars as the adult version of Belle’s character. Also starring are Nicole Kidman, Dianne Weist and Stockard Channing in the pic about two sisters who are raised by their aunts and introduced to the family’s secret tradition: witchcraft. The young women try to use their supernatural skills to solve their romantic problems.

Griffin Dunne is set to direct, from a script by Robin Swicord based on Alice Hoffman’s novel. Denise di Novi is producing.

Belle’s other acting credits include New Line’s “Poison Ivy II” and WB’s “A Little Princess.” She’ll be seen opposite Steven Seagal in the upcoming Seagal/Nasso Prods./Interlight Pictures pic “The Patriot” and in the CBS film “Replacing Dad.”

Belle is repped by agent Suzi Smith at TGI/Bloom.
