BERLIN — Munich-based film fund Internationale Medien und Film GmbH & Co. Produktions KG (IMF) has raised DM40 million ($22 million) for the production of two U.S. pics.

IMF is providing financing for David Dobkin’s “Clay Pigeons” and Marek Kanievska’s “Where the Money Is,” starring Paul Newman. Polygram will distribute the pics in North America.

Munich investment company Deinboeck KG manages the fund. The Los Angeles-based company Millennium Mediaworks handles development and acquisitions for IMF.

IMF expects to raise a total of $93 million by the end of the year, and is currently planning an additional nine projects, including “Cowgirl Kate,” Carlo Carlei’s “Forever, Inc.” and Ronnie Yu’s “Chasing the Dragon.”
