The ResFest Digital Film Festival, a touring fest dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of digital filmmaking, returns to Los Angeles for the second year in a row, coming Friday and Saturday to the Directors Guild of America.
The festival began this year in London, and after its Los Angeles run, will move to San Francisco and New York City.
The program will showcase screenings, including the work of independent digital films from emerging filmmakers, along with panel discussions, workshops and exhibits.
Screenings will include short digital films from various genres, music films and videos, longer films of 12-to-30 minutes in length and features. Exhibits from high-tech filmmaking companies such as Discreet Logic, EZTV and other companies will also be open to the attendees.
Tickets cost $8 per screening. For more info, call (310) 859-5588, or check the fest Web site at http://www.resfest.com.
