Exec slides into prexy slot
Leonard Washington has been upped to president of Paramount Digital Entertainment, taking over from the exiting prexy David Wertheimer.
In the post, Washington will be responsible for the continued development of online entertainment in cooperation with PDE’s distribution and promotion partners.
Washington, formerly exec vice president of PDE, was also a founding member of the group, and responsible for the design, development and production of online programming for Paramount and its advertising partners. PDE was formed in 1995.PDE is responsible for the online versions of Entertainment Tonight Online (www.etonline.com), which provides entertainment news on the World Wide Web, and Star Trek Online (www.startrek.com), the official online information source for fans of the 30 year old television and movie franchise.
