Available Light Ltd., a Hollywood visual effects boutique, has announced the launch of a motion graphics division to be headed by Anthony Venezia.
In his new post, Venezia will be responsible for spearheading Available Light’s entry into the area of designing and producing titles, logos and trailer graphics for feature film, TV, commercial and musicvideo projects.
“Tony is an accomplished and talented artist and producer who has been specializing in the area of motion graphics, logos and titles for many years. This is an area that we have not focused on until now, but I believe that it is an area of tremendous growth potential for our company,” said Available Light president and founder John Van Vliet.
Available Light’s primary focus since ’83 has been to provide f/x to feature pics such as “Ghost,” “Honey I Shrunk the Kids,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and “Stargate.”
Prior to assuming his new post, Venezia was the owner and founder of Electric Filmworks Inc., based in Glendale, which specialized in creating and producing digital and film optical effects, motion graphics, logos, motion control model shots and second unit photography.
