Nancy Carson has been upped to vice president of Warner Bros. international theatrical distribution, rising from her previous position as director within the division.
In the new post, Carson will be responsible for all matters pertaining to international rights, release dates and theatrical distribution for WB’s partner relationships, which include Castle Rock, Morgan Creek, Bel Air Entertainment, Village Roadshow and New Regency.
Carson will also work with the studio’s departments of business affairs, legal and acquisitions in reviewing and facilitating international theatrical acquisitions, co-productions and local productions for the division. She’ll continue to work closely with the regional supervisors, field managers and her counterparts in the home office departments of sales, administration, operations and marketing, and will report to Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, senior VP of Warners’ international theatrical distribution.
Prior to joining Warners in 1996, Carson was director of international distribution for Morgan Creek Intl., where she began her association with the company as manager and financial analyst. Other positions include financial analyst for Vestron Intl. Group.
