Trio of exex named Cablevision veeps

Lewis, Budill, Hildenbrand upped

Chuck Dolan’s Cablevision Systems Corp., the sixth largest cable operator in the U.S., has awarded senior veep stripes to three of its executives: Katherine Lewis, in strategic market planning; Mac Budill in programming; and Walt Hildenbrand in engineering and technology.

Lewis will research market trends and help evaluate the financial viability of video, telephony and high-speed data in the New York metropolitan area. Before joining Cablevision, Lewis was VP of programming for American Sky Broadcasting.

Budill buys the cable networks and the pay-per-view events for all of Cablevision’s systems, which serve more than 3.4-million subscribers. Budill was previously a management consultant for Bain & Co.

One of Hildenbrand’s duties will be to create a new engineering and technology department to speed the delivery of new services to subscribers.
