Writers Michael Goldberg and Tommy Swerdlow, whose credits include Walt Disney’s “Cool Runnings” and the Warner Bros. film “Little Giants,” have signed with the William Morris Agency.
Goldberg and Swerdlow’s other credits include “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” for TriStar, “Winterdance” for Touchstone and they are working on “Thirty Wishes,” also at Touchstone.
Actor Andy Dick — who co-stars in the NBC sitcom “Newsradio” — has signed with International Creative Management, where he will be repped by a team of TV and film agents that includes Colton Gramm, Chris Andrews, Scott Arnovitz and Ron West.
Dick’s other credits include TV’s “The Ben Stiller Show” and the upcoming MGM comedy “Best Men,” “Flashback,” “Reality Bites” and “Cable Guy.” He continues to be managed by Joel Lubin of Kingsgate Films.
Screenwriter Mark Verheiden (“The Mask,” “Time Cop”) has signed with the Broder Kurland Webb Uffner Agency, where he will be repped by Emile Gladstone.
Verheiden also created and produced the “Time Cop” TV series and currently is penning two projects under a two-picture deal with Universal Pictures.
Commercial helmer Kinka Usher — whose work has included spots for Pepsi, Nissan and the “Got Milk?” campaign — has signed with United Talent Agency.
The Smith-Gosnell-Nicholson agency has hired Devin Mann and Jonathan Silverman as agents. Mann, who previously worked at the Dattner Agency, joins the percentery’s commercial department, where he will rep directors of photography, pro-duction designers and costume designers.
Silverman joins from the William Morris Agency, where he had been an agent trainee. He will rep film and TV writers and directors.
