Assistant in Iger's office
ABC Inc. topper Robert Iger has tapped Leslie Stern to serve as his executive assistant.
Stern will essentially act as Iger’s numbers cruncher, “coordinating activities among the company’s various operations and assessing new business opportunities,” according to an internal memo circulated by Iger Thursday. She replaces Andrea Wong, who relocated to Los Angeles after being upped to VP of alternative programming at ABC Entertainment last month.
Stern has been at ABC since May 1997, serving as special assistant to the president of the ABC Television Network. She had been manager of advertising and sales promotion at Lancome in Paris from March 1993 to April 1997.
