Sony ups Criley

Exec grows into HR veep post

Suzanne Criley has been upped to senior veep, human resources at Sony, company corporate exec veep Beth Berke announced on Tuesday.

Criley joined Sony as a labor lawyer in October 1994 and was named senior labor counsel in 1996. In November 1997, she was named veep, human resources, as part of a restructuring of the human resources department’s management team.

Criley will now head Sony’s human resources’ re-engineering activities and, in conjunction with Berke, redeveloping and managing the department’s five key centers — staffing, diversity, employee relations, total rewards and organizational design.
