Roadshow’s Barlow ankles post

10-year vet cites personal reasons for exit

SYDNEY — Milt Barlow, president/CEO of Roadshow Entertainment, one of the most prominent figures in the Australian homevideo and interactive media industries, has resigned.

Barlow, a 10-year Roadshow vet, presided over the division’s growth from a rental-based operation to a powerhouse force in rental, sell-through and interactive.

He could not be reached for comment, but he has told colleagues he will leave at the end of this year for personal reasons.

Parent company Village Roadshow would not comment, but sources say Barlow will not be replaced, and Roadshow Entertainment will continue to run under managing director Christopher Chard and general manager Roslyn Wilson.
