Rasulo tops Disneyland Paris

Vet Mouse exec grows into executive veep slot

James A. (Jay) Rasulo has been appointed executive vice president of Disneyland Paris.

Beginning his new job in mid-August, Rasulo will oversee all operations at Disneyland Paris, while participating in strategic issues. He will assume the position of president of the Paris resort Jan. 1, 1999, after an initial indoctrination period.

Most recently, Rasulo has been senior VP, Disney Regional Entertainment, where he was responsible for helping develop and launch Club Disney, a multi-unit chain of interactive play sites for young families.

Joining Disney in 1986, Rasulo has held various executive positions associated with Disney’s theme parks and resorts.

Before joining Disney, Rasulo held management positions with the Marriott Corp. and with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.
