Broadcast promo veterans Ted Eccles and Daniel Genis have opened Launch Pad, a new full-service marketing, production and promotions company established to produce spots for TV series, films and other programming.
Launch Pad’s initial projects include weekly promos for the CBS series “Pensacola: Wings of Gold,” “Caroline in the City” and “PGA Tour’s Signature Golf.”
Eccles and Genis teamed in 1987 to form New Wave Prods., a TV and feature trailer company that contracted extensively to Disney.
Eccles, president of Tocula Lake-based Launch Pad, is an 18-year vet of broadcast promotions and marketing.
Genis, Launch Pad chief financial officer, founded Modern Film Effects, which became Cinema Research. In 1995, he co-founded L.A. Digital Post.
