Prod’n house BNN taps Skoler

Exec named development veep

NEW YORK — Nonfiction production house BNN has hired Elizabeth F. Skoler as VP, business affairs and director of development.

Skoler, who was formerly VP and deputy general counsel, law and business affairs for Nickelodeon, will be responsible for bridging business and creative elements within BNN, for program development, development coordination, research, program supervision and creative outreach to industry functions and educational environments.

Prior to joining Nickelodeon in 1993, Skoler participated in the start up of Court TV as a producer.

The New York-based BNN has produced nonfiction programming for ABC Entertainment, CBS News, CBS Cable, MTV and A&E. The independent production company currently has in production a second season of CBS Eye on People’s “I Witness,” two hours of CNN’s “Perspectives” and 10 hours of “Inside Story” for A&E.
