Jerry DiCanio has been upped to senior vice president of production operations and finance at NBC Studios.
DiCanio, who reports to Jerry Petry, executive vice president of NBC Enterprises, will be responsible for overseeing all production and financial operations of NBC Studios and NBC Enterprises.
His duties include financial reporting and analysis, production accounting and product marketing analysis for NBC’s inhouse production arm, which the company is beefing up significantly. NBC Studios will have three new series on the fall schedule and one drama set to debut midseason.
DiCanio, previously a vice president of production operations and finance at NBC Studios, joined the web in 1994. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president of finance at Viacom Prods.
DiCanio’s promotion does not affect the creative executives at NBC Studios, who continue to report to NBC Entertainment prexy Warren Littlefield.
