Exec named development-acquisition veep

Dallas-based children’s programmer Lyrick Studios has tapped Noel Resnick as senior veep of development and acquisition.

In the newly created position, she will oversee development and acquisition of properties for the company, whose entertainment units produce “Barney & Friends” and “Wishbone.” In addition, Resnick will seek co-production relationships both domestically and internationally.

“Noel is a perfect fit for us,” said Tim Clott, CEO of Lyrick. “Noel shares our vision of creating truly unique and innovative programming for kids of all ages.”

Prior to joining Lyrick, Resnick served as senior veep of development at Lancit Media Entertainment, a creator and producer of children’s programming, including “Reading Rainbow” and “Puzzle Place.” She has also produced several films, specials and series for networks and cable.
