Film Roman has tapped Mark Lieber as prexy of domestic television and distribution.
In this new position, Lieber will direct the development of all proprietary television product, both animated and live action at the animation house. He will also oversee the distribution of Film Roman’s series through broadcast, cable and syndication, including “The Mr. Potato Head Show,” “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.”
Lieber joins Film Roman from Polygram TV, where, as senior veep of children’s programming, he produced and distributed “Maisy” to Nickelodeon, and “Barney’s First Adventure,” as a simulcast to PBS and Fox Kids Network.
Prior to Polygram, Lieber was a senior veep of domestic television distribution for Saban Entertainment. In that capacity, Lieber helped create and implement distribution strategies for Saban’s joint venture with Fox Kids Network.
