She fills global marketing exec veep slot

The Jim Henson Co. has tapped Susan Frank for its newly created position of executive VP of corporate marketing worldwide.

Based in Los Angeles, Frank will be responsible for all global marketing initiatives for the company, including theatrical, television and video. This includes the development, integration and implementation of strategic marketing objectives for the Jim Henson Co. brand globally.

Prior to joining the company, Frank served as executive VP of worldwide marketing and promotions for the Fox Children’s Network, where she handled on- and off-air promotions, creative services, station relations and on-line entertainment. She also oversaw the domestic network’s ancillary properties including the quarterly kids magazine “Totally Fox Kids,” the Fox Kids weekly radio show and the Kids Club.

The Jim Henson Co., based in Los Angeles with additional offices in New York and London, is an independent multimedia production company and one of the top character licensers. It’s also a leading publisher of children’s books and home to Jim Henson Television, Jim Henson Pictures and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
