Gran Canal Latino taps Testa

Exec named prexy of new film net

MIAMI — Patricia Testa has been tapped president of Kushner-Locke’s Spanish-lingo film net Gran Canal Latino, due to launch in November.

Testa segues from HBO Ole Partners, where she was senior VP of ad sales, and returns to her native Chile, where Gran Canal is being managed by Santiago-based Phoenix World Intl.

Testa formerly worked in U.S. Hispanic broadcasting, as an account exec at Telemundo’s Los Angeles station and a sales manager at Univision in L.A. and Miami.

She will report to Phoenix topper Arturo Feliu, who heads K-L’s Latino division.
