Frederick joins WB as sr. veep

Exec bumped from Castle Rock marketing

Jim Frederick has joined the Warner Bros. theatrical marketing department in the post of senior vice president of creative advertising, segueing from his previous position as marketing prexy for WB-based Castle Rock Entertainment.

In the WB slot, Frederick will continue to create the advertising materials for all Castle Rock films, including the upcoming Hugh Grant starrer “Mickey Blue Eyes” and “The Green Mile.” He’ll also take on creative advertising responsibilities for other WB features.

During his Castle Rock tenure, which began in 1991, Frederick led advertising and marketing for all the company’s pics, such as “A Few Good Men” and “The Shawshank Redemption.”
