Exec to negotiate talent deals, work with Fox Animation
HOLLYWOOD — Twentieth Century Fox has upped Tom Moglovkin to vice president of business affairs.
Moglovkin’s primary area of responsibility will be the negotiation of talent deals and the acquisition of properties for Fox Animation Studios.
The exec will report to Steve Bersch, executive vice president of business affairs.
Moglovkin joined Fox’s legal department in 1994 as associate counsel, moving to the business affairs department in 1997.
Fox is gearing up its animation activity after the moderate success of its first release, “Anastasia.” The studio’s next animated pic is “Planet Ice,” to be voiced by Matt Damon, Bill Pullman and Drew Barrymore, and directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman.
