Seiniger Advertising Group chairman Tony Seiniger announced that veteran creative exec Scott Bramlett and Lee Harry have joined the agency as co-heads of the Audio/Visual Department. Bramlett was named senior veep of Audio Visual and Harry was named senior veep of Audio Visual, Creative.

Broadcast Marketing and public relations agency Clein + White has announced the promotions of several execs. Shannon Treusch has been upped to veepee, Amy Lillard to senior publicist, Sarah Bassett to head writer and Steve Beernan to junior publicist.

The Food Network appointed Melinda Fishman as VP, programming and production, and Michael John Smith as VP, creative services. In her new job, Fishman will supervise the cable web’s production and oversee future program development. Most recently, Fishman ran her own media consulting practice, with clients in broadcast and cable television, including the Food Network. As the Food Network’s VP of creative services, Smith will be responsible for managing the creation of all on-air and off-air promotion, show opens, network branding, logo and graphic design and the creation of all ads and collateral material. Smith joins the Food Network from the Disney Channel, where he spent eight years, most recently as executive director of on-air promotion.

Joanna Bistany has been upped to senior veepee, ABC News. In her new position, Bistany will have oversight responsibility for a variety of programming issues. She will also act as the liason between the news division and ABC Television Network. Bistany most recently worked for the network as veep and executive-in-charge of “Nightline” and “This Week.”

Heather Courtney and Carolyn Ingber have joined Fried Films as creative execs. Courtney and Ingber’s responsibilities will include identifying new material for the company as well as developing the company’s current slate of film projects. Fried Films has long-term production commitments with Sony Pictures Entertainment and HBO.

Dick Clark Corporate Productions Inc. has named Jennifer Gilbert veepee of strategic marketing. Gilbert joined the company as director of strategic marketing in April 1996. She has designed creative concepts and led project teams in the development and execution of communications programs for Nissan, Mazda, Lexus, Honda and Boeing, among other companies.

Jamie L. Euster and Mary McIlrath have been named managers, Warner Bros. media research. Euster and McIlrath, who most recently served as supervisors, media research, will continue to be responsible for the ongoing research needs for all firstrun and off-network programs distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and Telepictures Distribution. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Euster worked as a research intern at Paramount Pictures. McIlrath joined Warner Bros. in 1995 as an intern in domestic television distribution and moved through the ranks to her present position.

Baxter Urist has assumed the position of group prexy of products and international television at Children’s Television Workshop (CTW). In a similar move, Nina B. Link has been upped to group prexy of publishing and new media at the company. Urist most recently served as senior veepee of the product licensing and international television group at the company. Link has served as senior veepee of publishing and new media at CTW since 1997.

NBC Entertainment Press & Publicity has named Diane Castro senior press manager. Castro will be responsible for managing print publicity campaigns for “ER,” “3rd Rock From the Sun,” “Working” and “Will & Grace.” Prior to joining NBC, Castro was director of publicity at Studios USA since 1997.

ASI Entertainment has announced the appointment of two execs. Paul Lenburg has been named exec veepee of ASIE nationwide reseach and analysis. Lenburg joined ASIE in 1976 and has since provided research and counsel for the company. Additionally, Guy Duff has been named chief technology officer for the company’s newest division, ASIE Nationwide Technology Group. Duff joined the company three years ago as director of information technology.

Broadcast and print promotion, production and design firm Another Large Production (ALP) has named Ron Cohen veep/producer/director and Donna Higgins veep, production. Cohen will be responsible for producing and directing broadcast promotional campaings for many current ALP projects, while Higgins will oversee the development and production of ALP’s TV promotional activities.

Vienna Steiner has been upped to veepee of packaging and production for Bravo and the Independent Film Channel. In her new role, Steiner will oversee the development and production of new original non-film series and specials for Bravo. She joined the net in 1992 as director of program packaging.

The Jim Henson Co. has tapped new media vet Craig Allen to head its interactive division as general manager. At Jim Henson Interactive, Allen will be responsible for developing all genres and platforms of interactive media, from packaged media to online entertainment and new types of interactive technologies. Allen, who has previously served at Disney Interactive, has created several successful interactive titles, including “Mickey Mania,” “Toy Story” and “Hercules.”

Universal Pictures has tapped Kesa L. Tsuda as director of human resources, responsible for assisting in the development of the human resources department. Previously, Tsuda was responsible for the development of financial, administrative and employee policies and procedures at Comcast, Content and Communications (C3).

Paramount Pictures has upped Brian Wensel from executive director of production finance to VP of production finance for the studio’s motion picture group. In his new position, Wensel will oversee all aspects of budgeting for assigned motion pictures from pre-production through post-production in the group. Prior to joining Paramount in 1987 as a production accountant, Wensel worked in production finance for ABC.

Fox Network Distribution VP Gina Grant is taking on new responsibilities at the web as part of an overall restructuring at Fox’s distribution department. While remaining in charge of Fox’s affiliate relations efforts in the Midwest and East, Grant will now take on direct management of the distribution department’s New York staff. Other Fox changes announced Thursday include the promotions of Ciro Abate and Melissa Rohrer to directors of network distribution from associate director and manager, respectively. In addition, Inae Joe has been upped from coordinator to manager of sports information.

Indie film adman Marc Lodovico has ankled Arnie Sawyer Studios to join Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer, where he will handle the agency’s new Miramax Films account. Lodovico was upped from account supervisor to vice president in 1991 and was responsible for developing creative advertising, print and collateral materials for theatrical releases and homevideo.
