NBC Studios has upped three operations execs from managers to directors. Vicki Aguilar supervises financial reporting for profit participants in NBC Studios’ productions. Richard Winnie is now director of post production and Kurt B. Ford is director of production services.
Torrie Dorrell has joined Polygram Filmed Entertainment as veep of licensing. Dorrell will oversee all North American merchandising efforts for Polygram’s film, TV and video titles. Dorrell comes to PFE after working as VP of the Kids’ WB/Kid Rhino music imprint.
Rich Sutton has been promoted to veepee of sales & client marketing for Warner Bros. Online. Sutton, formerly director of ad sales for WB Online, is responsible for marketing WB Online to national advertisers and top ad agencies.
Digital Media Company has named Mark F. Miller exec VP and managing director. In his new role, Miller will oversee the company’s continued expansion of post-production services and high-end special effects for TV series, commercials, and feature films. Miller was previously president of Unitel Hollywood.
Discovery Networks, Intl. has upped Jim Boyle to senior veepee of marketing and communications, and Chris Haws to senior veepee and executive producer of international production. Boyle will oversee all international efforts in the area of branding, print marketing, communications, and media relations. Haws will be responsible for stimulating, coordinating, and enhancing the original production efforts for all of the company’s international networks.
New Line Television has promoted David Imhoff from senior VP to executive VP of worldwide licensing and merchandising. Imhoff will continue to run New Line’s licensing and merchandising for the film and television group on a international basis. Before beginning his eight year stint at New Line, Imhoff was an account executive for International Management Group.
