Edward J. Mauger, a retired AFTRA executive who began his career as a dancer on Broadway, died Dec. 31 in Los Angeles of heart failure. He was 83.
Mauger danced in numerous Broadway shows, including “Rosalinda,” “One Touch of Venus” and “Blossom Time.”
After retiring from the stage, Mauger moved to Los Angeles and joined the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists and subsequently served as its Controller until his retirement in 1981.
There are no survivors.
