Ex-senator elected, Troubh, Perkins retiring

Time Warner will nominate former senator John C. Danforth, 61, for election to its board at the May annual meeting of shareholders, the entertainment giant said Thursday. Danforth, who retired from the Senate in 1994, had been attorney general of Missouri before his election to the Senate in 1976.

Two existing directors are retiring from the board at the annual meeting, Raymond Troubh and Donald Perkins. Troubh has been a director since 1989, and Perkins since 1979.
