NEW YORK — Joanna Bistany has been upped to senior VP at ABC News.
In her new position, announced Friday, Bistany will serve as the news division’s main day-to-day liaison with ABC Entertainment and the web’s parent, Walt Disney Co. She’ll also be in charge of series and specials scheduling, broadcast continuity and quantitative research, as well as coordination between various ABC News broadcasts.
