B’way video opens in Harlem

8,600-square-foot facility to employ 20 STRIVE/ASAP graduates by year's end

Broadway Video, working with Citibank and the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, has opened a 8,600-square-foot duplication facility in West Harlem.

The new facility, located on Broadway and 132nd Street, expands on the operations of New York’s leading production and post-production company in midtown Manhattan on Broadway and 49th Street.

Broadway Video, owned by “Saturday Night Live” producer Lorne Michaels, has already hired 12 graduates of STRIVE/ASAP, the nationally renowned program to provide private-sector jobs to inner-city residents. Broadway Video expects this number to exceed 20 by year’s end.
