Dandridge will supervise all East Coast and West Coast television network communications. He’ll also “consult on media strategy and public relations planning related to various corporate issues,” ABC said in a statement announcing Dandridge’s hiring.
Dandridge fills the position vacated by Sherrie Rollins, who ankled the web last month to join Children’s Television Workshop as executive VP of marketing and communications. He’ll report to Patricia Matson, senior VP for communications at ABC Inc.

Dandridge will start his new position at ABC on Aug. 21.
