HOLLYWOOD — The Jim Henson Co. has tapped new media vet Craig Allen to head its interactive division as general manager.
At Jim Henson Interactive, Allen will be responsible for developing all genres and platforms of interactive media, from packaged media to online entertainment and new types of interactive technologies. He’ll be charged with identifying new strategic partnerships to create more involving family-oriented multimedia titles.
Allen will report to Isabel Miller, Henson’s exec VP for consumer products, and to Susan Frank, exec veepee for worldwide corporate marketing.
Allen, who has previously served at Disney Interactive, has created several successful interactive titles, including “Mickey Mania,” “Toy Story” and “Hercules.”
